The art case with turned legs and lyre was refinished in ebony spraying polyester.
The original souding board was repaired and revarnished so, it retained its genuin tone qualities form Debussy's era. The bridges were recapped with European beech wood to Bechstein's specifications.
The orginal Schwander action was reconditioned and equipped with new german shanks and Bechstein hammers.
Bechstein A1 piano is 5ft 11″ (182cm) Long with modern 88 keys.
