A few words about us
Radek Baran originally trained at the Gustav Fibiger Piano Building Program in Kalisz, Poland. Radek believes in maintaining the time honored traditions of piano building and tuning. He continues to tune by ear with the philosophy that tuning is an art and there is no better judge of musicality than the human ear. He continued his training with at the Fazioli factory in Sacile, Italy, the Bluthner factory in Leipzig, and the August-Forster factory in Lobau, Germany.
For over 20 years, Radek has worked on pianos in Europe, USA and Canada. He has worked with distinguished piano houses and artists such as Angela Hewitt, Richard Goode, Marietta Orlov, Marc Andre-Hamelin, Benjamin Grosvenor, and John O'Connor just to name a few.
