Fine Aural Tuning

Every annual or semi-annual tuning includes minor pitch correction to a Standard Stuttgart Pitch A440hz (ISO 16) or requested pitch (baroque pitch of 415hz 432hz, 435hz, 442hz, Berlin Philharmonic 443hz or old 445hz)

If your piano hasn’t been tuned in 2-3 years, it will most likely need a pitch raise. This is a two-step process:

1.
First visit: We bring the strings back to a standard or requested pitch. In simple terms – your piano goes from noticeably out of tune to playable.

2.
Second visit (after 2-4 weeks): Once the piano has settled into its new tension, we fine-tune it for stability and precision. This takes it from playable to refined.

Afterwards, we recommend a
semi-annual or annual tuning to keep your piano sounding its best and prevent the pitch from slipping again.
